Brief description of the project and expected results:
Cápsulas do Norte - Indústrias Metálicas, Lda. is a company whose activity is based on the production of retractable capsules for wine, beer, spirits and olive oil bottles, as well as for use in gas (LPG) bottles. In line with its values of ethics, sustainability, innovation and people, the company will purchase and install a solar photovoltaic plant for self-consumption, consisting of 528 panels, with an installed power of 290.40 kWp/250 kWn, together with a support structure for its implementation. Through this project, Cápsulas do Norte will promote efficiency in energy consumption, reducing the costs associated with it and encouraging the consumption of energy derived from a clean, renewable and environmentally friendly source: the sun. In addition, the solar photovoltaic plant will reduce direct and indirect GHG emissions at its industrial site by 31.60%.
